Terms and Conditions
Please read these terms and conditions carefully before making your booking. By making a booking with us, you agree to be legally bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not wish to be bound by these terms and conditions then regrettably you may not make a booking via our website.
If you do not comprehend any of the contract conditions, we strongly recommend that you contact Customer Service before proceeding with any contract. If any provision or term of these terms and conditions shall become or be declared illegal, invalid or unenforceable for any reason whatsoever, such term or provision shall be deleted but all other terms will remain valid.
1 Service and Contract Formation
1.1 Taxi Airports Transfer acts as an agent for third party transport service providers and the contract for the provision of the transportation service is between you and the third party service provider.
1.2 By booking a service from our website, you are entering into a contract with the service provider and not Taxi Airports Transfer. You agree to be legally bound by these terms and conditions when you make a reservation.
1.3 When your submit your request for service, your reservation details are sent to the service provider and only when he accepts your reservation a confirmation email is sent to you and the contract between you and the service provider is formed.
2 Liability
2.1 The liability for the provision of transfer services between you and the service provider is restricted solely to those two parties between whom the service has been contracted. Taxi Airports Transfer liabilities resulting from this agreement shall therefore be limited to those of a third-party broker between you and the service provider. Any liabilities resulting from the provision of the transfer service shall be the sole responsibility of the service provider and their insurance companies.
2.2 To the best of our knowledge all service providers featured on this website are fully licensed and insured to the rules governed by their country of operation. As laws and licensing rules vary from country to country some of the service providers conditions may limit or exclude liability. We strongly recommend as with any form of travel that the customer takes out adequate travel insurance.
2.3 Neither we nor the service provider, will be responsible for any losses you suffer (including for example any missed flights) due to your failure to allow sufficient time for your journey.
2.4 In agreeing to the terms and conditions you accept that Taxi Airports Transfer will in no way be held responsible for any losses, expenses or claims made by you in the event of any problem associated with the transfer and all claims will lay with the service provider.
3 Availability of Service
3.1 We are entitled, on behalf of the service provider, to refuse any order placed by you. We do not guarantee to successfully allocate a service provider to every booking request. In the event that we are unable to accept your booking request we will send an email to advise you of any alternative that may be offered.
3.2 All information is given on the website in good faith and is believed to be correct at the time of print. Taxi Airports Transfer will not be responsible for any other inaccuracies due to out of date information which may have not been pointed out to us by the service provider.
3.3 Vehicle model and type indicated in the reservation form and on this web site are for description of the type of service. In rare cases the service provider may need to arrange a replacement vehicle should this be necessary in order to provide the transportation service. For example in the case that the vehicle booked is delayed in traffic or diversion a suitable replacement will be provided of equal or greater cost of service value. We do not guarantee that the exact model or type of vehicle specified in your confirmation email will be used for the service.
4 Payment
4.1 The default payment method is in cash to the driver, in local currency, unless otherwise agreed. The credit card provided during the reservation is used for reservation validation purpose. No payment will be taken at the time of booking. If you fail to cancel your reservation in accordance with the service provider cancellation policy a no show fee will be charged to the credit card provided as described in section 5 bellow.
4.2 Advance payment by credit card is available on request.
4.3 You confirm that all details you provide to us for the purpose of booking a service with the service provider are correct, that the credit which you use is your own and that there are sufficient funds or credit facilities to cover the cost of the service.
5 Cancellations
5.1 You will not be charged for cancellations provided that you cancel 48 hours before the booked transfer pick-up time. After this period you will need to contact the service provider directly in order to make changes or to cancel your reservation. Your service provider terms and conditions will apply.
5.2.0 Last minute reservations received within 48 hours from scheduled pickup time: any reservation received within 48 hours from scheduled pickup time, cannot be cancelled and 100% of the transfer's price will be charged as late cancellation fee. We accept reservations up to one year in advance and therefore we encourage to book as soon as possible, to take full advantage from our very flexible cancellation rules (as stated below) often voiding any charge up to a few hours before scheduled pickup time. Differently, last minute reservations received within a very short time, require greater efforts and added expenses from both our side and service provider's, making impossible to cancel for free such kind of bookings.
5.2.1 General reservation cancellation policy
a) up to 24 hours before the transfer: no charge.
b) Less than 24 hours before the arrival: up to 100% of the total transfer cost may be applied.
c) After the driver has departed to the pickup destination: the full cost of the transfer will be charged.
5.3 Waiting period
a) pick-up from airports: 70 minutes from the flight actual arrival time.
b) pick-up from any other point: 15 minutes from the agreed pickup time.
5.4 In case of no show without communication, after the waiting period has ended (see clause 5.3 above) the full cost of the booked service will be charged.
5.5 Any changes to your reservation must be sent to us in writing via e-mail 48 hours prior to the date of travel. Once you receive the service provider contact number via email, all changes to your reservation must be made directly with the service provider by calling the phone number provided.
5.6 We will advise you as soon as possible to the e-mail address you have given us if for any reason your booking has to be cancelled.
5.7 If the driver has departed to reach the pickup destination the full cost of the transfer will be charged.
5.7 Cancellation terms for buses are excluded from the general terms. The cancellation request must be made 72 hours prior to the pickup time.
6 Child seats
6.1 Child seats are not compulsory: there is an exemption for taxis and licensed transport vehicles that can still carry children even if the correct child seat is not available.
6.2 Children under 3 years of age, with or without child seat, still count towards the vehicle occupancy.
7 Excess luggage
7.1 Please inform us at the time of booking if you wish to travel with excess baggage. This is to ensure that the service provider vehicles can accommodate you. The passenger (you) shall be liable for all expenses incurred should additional vehicles be required to transport non-declared excess luggage.
8 Force Majeure
8.1 Taxi Airports Transfer and the service provider cannot be held liable for delays, changes or cancellation of service due to force majeure, or to other circumstances that are unforeseeable or beyond the service provider control, such as accidents suffered by third parties on the transfer route, police checkpoints, acts of terrorism, extreme weather conditions etc.
9 Intellectual Property Rights
9.1 Copyrights, trademarks and other intellectual property rights of the website have been granted under license to Taxi Airports Transfer and are protected by national and international regulations governing intellectual property.
9.2 Use of our website content by third parties for any purpose other than booking transfers is prohibited, including the modification, subsequent publication and total or partial reproduction or representation of the same without the express consent of Taxi Airports Transfer.
10 Other
10.1 If you encounter any problems with the service you book on Taxi Airports Transfer website, have any complaints or comments please contact us and we'll endeavor to investigate the matter with the service provider on your behalf.
10.2 Taxi Airports Transfer website also offers third party holiday extras through a range of advertising and affiliate schemes. These include car hire, accommodation, tours and excursions, holiday insurance and car parking. In using the Taxi Airports Transfer website to make reservations with the above companies the client is deemed to agree with the terms and conditions of the company with which they make the booking.
